2018 Checking Website

Secondary Schools and Colleges (Key Stage 4 and 16 to 18)

16 to 18 retention measures and the completion and attainment measure: The retention measure and the completion and attainment measure for your school/college are now available for you to view and the instructions on how to access these data are given below.

These measures are based on learning aims collected through the autumn school census or the autumn Individualised Leaner Record (ILR14) and exam results collected from awarding organisations.

Please note: No amendments are required or will be accepted. Therefore schools and colleges need to make sure aims information are recorded correctly in Autumn Census and ILR14 and exam results collected from awarding organisations.

The data included does not take account of any errata changes requested by schools and colleges, following the January performance tables’ publication. Where relevant, the performance tables’ data for completion and attainment and retention measures on the gov.uk website will be updated on the 16 April to take account of errata amendments.

How to access the data: You can find data for your retention measures and completion and attainment fields in the student level CSV. Information for aims that are included in the completion and attainment measure can be found in the aims CSV.
