How to tell the website is the Tables Website

The Tables Website uses SSL which provides a secure communication channel between your web-browser and the website. It does not secure your PC.

The first clue is the http://tableschecking.education.gov.uk/ changes to https://tableschecking.education.gov.uk/. The second clue is the padlock icon on the status bar.

Double clicking on the padlock icon will display the SSL certificate which in IE 11 looks like this. The Issued to address must be tableschecking.education.gov.uk.
